I didn't think it got beyond the "nice idea" stage.
That would be a good one to have made.
Was this figure scrapped? I was talking to a friend Queen and remembered there were plans for a figure of Mercury.
Anyone know what happened?

Scrapped. McFarlane had second thoughts on how well it would sell. I have no idea if it made it to the prototype stage.
Thanks guys!
Wasn't there a silhouette of the figure, though?
And it would have sold just as well as Jerry, Janis, and Jim. It didn't stop them.

But then the sales of the 2 new J's should have made up for all that
Maybe they're just doing people with J's in their first name. Man, gotta clear some space for that Jim Croce figure.
i would so buy that
it would be my first music fig
I'm surprised to be honest. When I was in school and for long after... Queen and Aerosmith were the two biggest bands of the day. Mercury, like Tyler / Perry, Bowie and other folks was a visually interesting character, and often considered one of rocks greatest vocalists.
God knows they had enough hits.
Seems that with the sales of Hendrix, Angus Young, and Metallica, he would do OK..
